Alex J. Zigler

December 30, 1999 - June 27, 2021

Alexander J. Zigler, 21, of Boone, Iowa, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 due to a fatal car crash.

Visitation will take be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd.) There will be a Celebration of Life held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Cherry Glen Park (Saylorville Lake).

Alex loved fishing and enjoyed being with friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Kim (Arnold) Tanke; father, James Zigler (Deb McDougal); brothers, Michael Sanders (Ally Reed), James Sanders (Jessica Wood), and Russell Zigler (Maria); and nephews, Gabe and Ollie. He is also survived by his significant other, Wendy Bass.

Alex is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Wendel; grandmother, Bonnie Roberts; uncle, Kevin Roberts; and grandparents, Russell and Marjory Zigler.

Alex was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to everyone. He will forever be in our hearts, minds, and prayers.  He will be missed and forever loved by many.
