Andrew "Andy" Patrick Kasper

April 10, 1942 - May 13, 2018

Andrew (Andy) Patrick Kasper Jr. was born on April 10, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Andrew Sr. and Madonna (Pierick) Kasper.
He passed away on May 13, 2018 due to complications of prostate cancer.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Services
of Iowa, 4208 N. Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, Iowa on
May 21, 2018 from 4 to 7pm with a Prayer Service
at 7pm.

Andy was a 1960 Graduate of Dowling High School,received his Criminal Justice AA Degree from DMACC in Ankeny and attended Drake University.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a Military Policeman, and joined the Ankeny Police Departmentin 1969. He left the Department in 1977, having
achieved the rank of Lieutenant/Assistant Chief to go into real estate sales. He worked for several real estate firms in Ankeny and in 1995 became the manager of the Ankeny office of Iowa Realty until 2009.

He enjoyed working in his yard, smoking a good cigar, Black Velvet, watching Iowa and Iowa State football on T.V. and using his own ANDY K recipes to prepare meals indoors and on the grill.

Andy is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Karla; children, Patrick (Savannah) Kasper, Kevin Kasper, and Timothy Kasper, of Ankeny, Thomas Kasper of
Phoenix, Arizona, Katherine (Mike) Heise of Waukee and Theresa Kasper; brothers, Christopher (Michaelene) of Canyon Lake, Texas, Gregory (Mary Jo) of Ankeny, Timothy (Brenda) of Maxwell, Iowa, and Matthew (Silvija) of Anchorage, Alaska; 8 Grandchildren; Ashley, Ryan, Joseph, Cadence, Hudson, Andrew,
Tristan and Sevan; 6 Great-Grandchildren; Isabella, Jaxon, Kennedy,Damian, Nirvana and Vera, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Ankeny Area Historical Society.

Burial will be at a later date at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.
