Loved meeting Tina a few years back. She and my father, Noel Albaugh shared the same birthday and went to school together. What a delightful gal!

Alan and I send our sincere sympathy to all of Tina's family. May it comfort you a tiny bit, knowing that there are many hearts mourning along with yours. I thoroughly enjoyed and will greatly miss our conversations, Tina's vibrant energy, her knowledge of our town's past, and that ever-present warm gleam in her eyes. I pray God will give you comfort, peace and strength in the days ahead.

Dear Battani Family, My heart is broken. Tina was friends with my parents and became a special friend to me when I moved here 8 years . We, before Covid would meet at 5:30 mass and visit. I loved her sense of humor and love of family. I feel bad I hadn’t been in touch these last several months. I will keep all of you in my prayers, it is such a loss when our parents are gone. Sincerely, Rosemary DeFino Brady

Tina was one of the best. Great Ankeny historian and booster. She was a great volunteer at the museum…and in my 18 years of filling in as president of the Ankeny Historical Society I could always tell exactly how the monthly membership meetings were going….by her smiling face…or if I wasn’t doing so well, her concerned eyes. I enjoyed her immensely. Ron
