I don't get out of my condo often...and when I did yesterday (the 15th), I was stunned to see the notice on the bulletin board, too late for the service. I have been sad all day, and thinking of Steve and her children and grands. She loved you all! Oh, how I will miss my friend and neighbor Avery and her sparkling eyes and beautiful smile! She was the goddess of the 3rd floor, tall and elegant. Holidays won't be the same without her "secret" goodie bags hanging from the door knob. Or her knock on my door, a homemade yummy treat in hand. How lucky I was to have her in my life for these (almost) ten years! I am going to miss her magic, for sure...Maggie

My thoughts and prayers are with Avery's family. Words can not express how greatful I have been to have had a loving, caring, and compassionate friend in Avery. I will definitely miss her. May she rest in peace.
