Brian Edwards

March 24, 1958 - January 8, 2021

Brian Walter Edwards, 62, went to be with Jesus on January 8, 2021 after a long and tough battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family who will miss him very much.

Brian was born to Wilbur and Rosemond Edwards on March 24, 1958 in Metz, IA. He graduated from Newton High School. He loved fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family. He was employed at Monfort Meat Packing and then went to Ryko Manufacturing and XPO Logistics where he really enjoyed working with all his coworkers.

Brian married Barbara on April 6, 1985. Brian had a son, Joe, from a previous marriage and Barbara had a son and daughter, Mike Nelson and Christine Nelson, and they had a daughter, Annastasha Edwards. Brian had ten grandchildren who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brothers, Lee and Clifford from Atlanta, GA.

There will be no services at this time. Any memorials may be directed to the family and they will decide where to donate them.
