She married James Ahn February 6, 1969, and together they had 2 sons.
Carol is survived by her husband Jim; sons, Steven James Ahn of Des Moines, and Troy Dale (Julie) Ahn of Indianola; grandsons Kyle and Michael, and three great-grandchildren.
