I just returned from a retreat in Mo. and found this sad news on my computer when I got home. Chuck and my late husband and I were co-workers from the State for many years, and continued monthly lunches with our coffee group from work. Am sorry I cannot attend his memorial service and meet those special grand kids he told us so much about. He was definitely proud of his family. Chuck and I were on the same programming team in Iowa State Government for many years. Chuck was a great coworker. He knew his systems, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a hearty laugh and frequently kidded around. We had many (friendly) arguments about Iowa vs. Iowa State. I told him about when I passed through Deadwood, and regret not being able to tell him about passing through Lusk in more recent years. May God bless Chuck.
