I am so sorry to hear death of Erik. My deepest sympathies family is in my prayers.
Erik was such a wonderful person to work for. Everyone in the office will miss his ready smile and helpful attitude around the department. It's been 10 years but still fresh in my memory when I started my job at Telligen, Erik was the first person to welcome me and making sure I was comfortable.

We only got to know Erik recently when we discussed a work opportunity together. Even with the brief encounters, we are impressed by Erik's professionalism, knowledge, intelligence, and kindness. Today Oct 16, when I wished Erik a "Happy boss day", email bounced back. I searched and found this obituary. Can't believe how this happened.
Have worked for Erik 17 years back, but he is always my manager to me.
Erik was a natural manager, my best performance was under him. He was real techie, who could write thousands of line of code or rip apart x86 machine and reassemble it. It was my good luck to have worked with him for 2.5 years.
As a person, he was well liked and respected by all for his honesty and integrity. I have tears in my eyes. I lost one my most dependable friend. Looks like heaven needed a IT manager to run operations, that's why God called him so early.
