I first met "Lefty" on May 13, 2013, as I was his Guardian on The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight. This was arranged through my Mom (Pat Oetker) and Jean. My Dad (Bill) was going and my nephew was his Guardian. I sure wanted to go and it worked out that "Lefty" needed a Guardian. We all enjoyed the day. They wasn't a dull moment with "Lefty".
