Eva was born on May 20, 1937, near Blakesburg, Iowa to Fred and Hazel Sandeen. She graduated from Blakesburg High School and was united in marriage to Willard “Bill” Wallace in 1955.

Eva and Bill lived in Ottumwa, Marshalltown, and Norwalk, before settling down in Ankeny, where they raised their children. They were married for nearly 59 years prior to Bill’s passing in 2014. While Eva wore many hats, raising her children and caring for her grandchildren was her biggest role and source of pride.

She is survived by four children, Mike Wallace (Linda Locker), Michelle Houser, Matt Wallace and Nick (Maia) Wallace; four grandchildren, Kenny (Krysta) Houser, Cheyenne Houser (Braden Kramer), James, and Ivy; five great grandchildren, Gabrielle (Tyler) Jass, Trae, Jakoby, Braxton and Blakely; and one great-great grandchild, Micah.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joyce Sandeen and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wallace and her three siblings, Gaynele Sandeen, Gayle (Gene) Huff, and Fred Sandeen.
