I first met Estella and Bill at a water exercise class at the YMCA. I always enjoyed our conversations and we shared many laughs together. As Bill's memory became more of a problem and they could no longer attend the swim classes they would come to our get togethers where we ate and fellowshipped together at the Y after most of us had exercised. They were such a joy and we all loved to see them. I also visited with them at their home from time to time. Estella was a wonderful loving giving lady and one I looked up to. She was indeed older and wiser than I so a good role model and inspiration. She lived her life well. We moved to another state and I lost contact with her; however, her memory and talks we shared remain with me always. Please accept my condolences and know that heaven is rejoicing to welcome her to her eternal resting place.

It was always an adventure getting to go to Iowa to visit. I always told Stella she was my favorite aunt and she’d give me a big grin. She was a “lady”, never a hair out of place. Uncle Bill was a larger than life police officer that I always bragged about when I got home. You could tell they truly loved each other and you would have Uncle Bill to deal with if anybody messed with Aunt Stella. They were blessed having that many years together. She was my Mom’s little sister and my last aunt. I am honored to have had them as FAMILY. Loved and Missed. Peter Barnosky

We sat next to Estella and Bill for many years in the Immanuel Class. They were such a sweet couple, loving, kind, considerate. They enjoyed the Class parties and often helped with the festivities. The obit didn't say whether Bill is still alive. We recall he had been failing neurologically, and Estella was taking care of him at home. Now Estella is at home with the Lord. We are sorry we are not available to attend the visitation or funeral. Sending our love, and condolences to the family, Ernie and Pat Fisher
