FRANCINE (CAMPANELLA) HERMANN

Francine Hermann, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the Mass, also at the church.

She lived a very long, productive and happy life. Francine was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 17, 1932. She lived in Brooklyn from 1932-1962, Malverne, New York (1962-1995) and Ankeny, Iowa (1995-2016). She retired from the Town of Hempstead Housing Authority, Long Island, New York in 1995.

Francine loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandson and many friends. Also, she enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her friends at Panera.

Francine is survived by two children through her marriage to Louis Senci who preceded her in death on January, 23, 1971; Anthony (Susan) Senci and Elizabeth (Kevin) Laraia; Also, was blessed and survived by three grandchildren and their spouse/fiancés, Adrienne (Nick Treibel) Senci, Gregory (Ashley) Laraia and Bryan (Amanda Pinneke) Laraia. Additionally, she was able to witness the birth of her great-grandson, Rocco Treibel. She is also survived by two siblings, Madeline (Campanella) Wilhem, and Rosanne (Campanella) Sheehan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church, in Francine’s memory.
