Helen was the secretary at my kids elem. school. She was firm but fair no nonsense office manager. I had some trouble getting my kids up in the mornings sometimes for school, one day I marched them in to see Mrs. Bishop for a tardy slip. When asked why they were tardy I stated that they wouldn't get up! She gave them "the what for" and after they turned to go to class she gave me a little wink!
