Henry A. Wall, age 83, of Ankeny Iowa, formerly of Mt. Lake, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Altoona Nursing and Rehab nursing home in Altoona Iowa.
Henry was born October 28, 1934 to Jacob and Sarah (Unrau) Wall in Lustre, Montana the oldest of six children. He accepted the Lord at an early age and was baptized and received into membership of the Lustre Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church. He later transferred his membership to the Cornerstone Bible Church in Mountain Lake.
On Friday, June 13, 1958 Henry married Lavina Heide in Mountain Lake, Minnesota where they made their home for over 50 years before moving to Ankeny Iowa to be closer to their daughter. Henry worked at Balzer Manufacturing for 40 years, until his retirement in 2000.
He is survived by his children, Connie Wall of Ankeny, Iowa, Steve (Lisa) Wall of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Doug (Martha) Wall of Chanhassen, Minnesota and Randy (Patty) Wall of Los Angeles, California; 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, and Jackie Wall, and 2 step-grandchildren, Alan and Laila Samaha; 3 sisters, Ann Parker of Bozeman, Montana, Bertha Karge of Wolf Point, Montana, and Ruth (Norman) Ortmann of Warroad, Minnesota; a brother, John (Margie) Wall of Waldport, Oregon; brother-in-law Eldin (Joann) Classen of Bingham Lake, Minnesota; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lavina; a sister Esther Classen; brothers-in-law H. Neal Parker and A. Harvey Karge; and nephew Barry Ortmann.
