So sorry for your loss. Herman was a great guy and will be missed by my family too. My kids considered him their grandpa and he always accepted us as part of his. Thoughts and prayers go out to you, Joy, Mark and Denise and the rest of the family. RIP Herman.

I have never met Herman, but have been a co-worker of his son, Tim, for 20 years and just from knowing Tim, I know Mr. Nagel must have been a great father. Not many can claim to be as nice and intelligent of a person as Tim is and he got it from his parents, I'm sure. My condolences to the entire Nagel family. Sincerely, Clark Besch

To all the Nagels, I am so sorry for your loss. Now he and my Dad are telling jokes in heaven. I am not sure if you four remember, but I used to babysit for you on the occasional evening when your parents went out. You were all little then. God bless all of you.

I am sorry for your loss. Getting to know Herman years ago as a colleague at John Deere, I found him to be kind and compassionate, intelligent, hard working, and an incredible problem solver. He loved his family so. I looked up to Herman with the greatest respect. I will always have the fondest of memories of Herman.

I loved Uncle Herb and loved his visit to the farm. Great cook, enjoyed ice cream and peaches he would bring to us and loved his big hugs and kisses. Un le Herb always took an interest in things that I have done in my life. Love him much. Rejoice in his life and now his everlasting life. Love Mary

My deepest sympathy to Joy, Tim, Mark, Denise, and David. I always looked up to Uncle Herman. He was a gifted man. I will always remember his intelligence, his love for family and God, his interests of football, cooking and gardening. I feel he always remembered his upbringing given his success. He lived a well balanced life. May we learn from his example. God Bless.
