Ilene Scholes, 102, of Ankeny passed away September 22, 2017.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Ilene was a 1932 graduate of Ankeny High School, and was a member of Ankeny United Church of Christ for 83 years.
She and her husband Kenneth owned and operated Ankeny Motors, a Ford dealership.
Ilene is survived by her 2 daughters, Patricia (Max) Brewbaker of Ankeny and Beverly (Richard) Albaugh of Huxley; 3 grandchildren, Janet (Chris) Harmeyer of Elkhart, Corey (Jennifer) Albaugh of Cedar Park,TX, and Nathan (Shellane) Albaugh of Huxley; 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; son Roger; grandson Douglas Brewbaker, and a sister Mary Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ankeny Historical Society or Ankeny United Church of Christ.
