Renee,Brock and Amanda,

You have mine and my families deepest and heartfelt sympathy. I am honored and privileged to have known Jim. He was one of the kindness and definetly one of the coolest people I have ever known. We had so much fun coaching the boys growing up and I will remember it always. Please give Brock a hug for me!

Love You,

Paul

Renee and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jim and I worked together off and on throughout our careers for along time. I always teased him about being older than me (3 whole months). He was a great person. I'm glad I took the time to get to know him. I remember how proud he was when the kids were born, and their accomplishments growing up. He never said much but when ever I asked him how the family was doing he was always anxious to brag. I'm really happy for him that he got to be a grandfather, I'm sure that was very special to him. My prayers and thoughts are with you and know that you all have a very special angel watching over you. God Bless.

Renee,
What a lovely obituary and testimony of his faith.
Please keep in touch as I inderstand what it is like to lose a husband.
You are right now surrounded by friends and family at the church. I would be at the memorial service if you were still in CR. Didn't realize you had moved.
In Christ's name with love, understanding and sympathy,
Mary Jen

Renee, Amanda, and Brock. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband and father. I remember him well from conferences and graduations!!I I know he fought the good fight against cancer---which also claimed my husband Cole. But they are together in a good place!! Hugs and fond memories of times spent with your family--and in my Spanish classes!!! Ironically, I thought about you all last week when I checked Sue and Gerry's house.

Sinceramente, Sra. Trudy Johansen

Dear Renee, Amanda and Brock,

Sending our sincere sympathy from Cedar Rapids.
We always remember you and your family with fond memories and usually think of Ron and Sally Pfluger at the same time!
May the peace and hope we have because we know Jesus be with you in extra measure at this time of loss.

Jim,

It's hard to believe its only been a month as it has felt more like a year since you've been gone. I miss our talks about Iowa State Football or the Steelers and Vikings. I read Theo the book you recorded for him almost on a regular basis as I want him to know your voice just as much as I never want to forget it. I cannot thank you enough for everything you shared with me and taught me the three short years we had together. I will do my best to carry on your memories with Amanda and the others. I love and miss you each day, but take comfort knowing that I will get a chance to see you again someday in Heaven. Thank you for everything Jim!

Love,

Ben
