Jane Renee (Noftsger) Lyon was born on February 1, 1979 to Larry and Mary (Beenken) Noftsger in Des Moines Iowa. Jane passed from this life into her eternal rest on May 29, 2018 at home in West Des Moines, due to brain cancer.
A visitation will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m at Memorial Services of Iowa Funeral Home in Ankeny. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:30 at Lutheran Church of Hope at their Ankeny campus.
In 1997 Jane graduated from I-35 high school in Truro Iowa, then graduating from AIB Business College and also Graceland University. She worked as an ophthalmic technician at Wolfe Eye Clinic.
She was the mother of two loving children Bayden Andrew and Raegan Mary. Her children were her pride and joy. She was engaged to Robbie Foxen.
She enjoyed her flower garden, the Rocky Mountains and snow, traveling, especially her trips to Colorado, where she was recently engaged at the top of Pikes Peak. She was also an avid ISU fan, and a Yankees fan.
Jane is survived by her children, Bayden and Raegan; her fiancée, Robbie; her parents, Larry and Mary Noftsger; brothers, Adam (Gina) Noftsger and David (Karen) Noftsger; a niece Katlyn and 2 nephews Jacob and Joshua; and many extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be used to provide college tuition for her children.
