Jason Gordon Larson, 47, of Ankeny, Iowa passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd.). Jason was born on April 11, 1975 to Carolyn and Gordon Larson and grew up in Carlisle, Iowa where he developed a life-long passion for wrestling. He also participated in baseball, football, track and soccer at Carlisle High School where he graduated in 1993.
Jason married Lisa Greaves on January 22, 2000 and they had two daughters, Karenna 20, and Kerrigan, 19. The family has resided in Ankeny for the past twenty years.
Jason’s biggest passion was cheering for his daughters in any activities which they were involved. His hobbies included watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and hanging out with friends and family. Jason also had a great interest in cars, some may say an obsession, even. Jason was definitely one of a kind and the life of any party. Passionate about everything he did, to know him was to love him.
Jason mastered his craft in the mortgage industry. Jason dedicated 25 years helping people achieve their dreams of owning a home. He was the manager of the Ankeny and Urbandale offices of Gershman Mortgage for the past eight years. He was known to go above and beyond for his clients.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa; daughters, Karenna and Kerrigan; mother, Carolyn Larson; brother, Eric (Darcy) Larson and their children, Kaleb, Carter and Luke; and sister, Jessica (Ryan) Scott and their son, Dalton. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Gordon.
The family would ask that all memorials be made in Jason’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
