Jeff used to assist with planting the Ankeny bandshell and the "long bed " at the Discovery Garden at the Iowa State Fair. While not an official Master Gardener, like his sister Kathy, he brought his own set of skills and sense of humor to our projects. On one occasion he told me while he wasn't an expert on plants, he could dig a good plant hole! We will miss him on our future projects!
