Jo Anne B. Anselme

September 12, 1948 - September 28, 2022

Jo Anne Beverly Anselme, 74, passed away September 28, 2022 at Ramsey Village in Des Moines.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd). A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., immediately following visitation, at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.

Jo Anne was born September 12, 1948, to Richard and Beverly (Jones) Fisher in Webster City, IA. She graduated from Dumont High School, and went on to marry Darrell Anselme on July 22, 1968.

She and Darrell moved to Ankeny in 1973 and she provided in-home daycare for over 40 years. Jo Anne loved caring for children and enjoyed spending time with her own children and grandchildren as well. She loved cooking and baking, and would always share her treats with those she knew.

Jo Anne is survived by her husband, Darrell Anselme; brother, Rick Fisher; children, Scott Anselme (Terry), Kevin Anselme (Joanna), and Lori De Haan (Mark); and grandchildren, Cale Anselme (Bailey), Nolan Anselme, Rebecca Anselme, Meghan Anselme, Connor Anselme, Madi Anselme, Ella De Haan, and Mallory De Haan.
