Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church (15 Indianola Rd.) in Des Moines, IA. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place immediately following mass at Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart, IA.

Jorge spent his whole life loving his beautiful wife and raising their children. He loved traveling to Mexico, spending nights of laughter with family, friends, and eating his favorite food (street tacos). Jorge knew how to fix and work on anything that crossed his path. We will forever remember his bold personality and contagious smile. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel that will forever watch over us.

Jorge is survived by his wife and caregiver, Elizabeth Saldaña; mother, Ester Rangel; children, Jorge A. Saldaña, Alberto Saldaña, Issac Saldaña and Araceli Saldaña, Angee Saldaña; grandchild, Brody Gordinier; brothers, sisters, niece’s, nephews and many others who loved him very much.
