Judy A. Hughes

September 30, 1944 - January 18, 2023

Judy Ann Hughes, 78, passed away quietly on January 18, 2023 and went to her heavenly home after a nine-year battle with Alzheimer’s.

The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd). A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, also at the funeral home.

Judy, the daughter of Adie and Roger Cerwick was born in Ute, Iowa on September 30, 1944. Her family moved to Worthington, Minnesota where she met the love of her life, John. Following graduation from the University of Minnesota, she and John were married. She taught school and raised two beautiful daughters, Christa and Stephanie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Lois Oster. She has one remaining and loving sister, Kathy (Ron) of Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Judy’s memory is honored by John and their two children, Christa (Ken) and their three boys Ethan, Zachary and Joshua, and Stephanie (Bill) and daughter Taylor.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Ramsey Village and the St. Croix Hospice team for their kind and loving support during these difficult times.
