Judy Joyce Blair passed from this world on February 25, 2015 into the arms of her Lord and Savior. She is Heaven’s angel now.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at New Life Church, 3505 S. Duff.
A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
Judy was born December 20th, 1940 to Roger and Katherine Johnson in Webster City, Iowa.
She was married to Gary Blair on October 1st, 1963 who preceded her entry to heaven on May 28th, 2007.
In addition to her Husband, Judy joins her parents and her sister Karen.
Judy attended Webster City High School and later continued her education in nursing, earning her LPN along with her sister Mary. Judy enjoyed working with the elderly throughout her career during which her family was ever so proud to see her in her traditional white nurses’ uniform and cap.
Judy was very strong in her Faith and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Ames for many years, and also enjoyed attending church services at Heartland Baptist Church in Ames as well as singing her hymns.
Judy is survived by six children, Robin (Kevin) Deaton of Huxley, Thomas Blair of Parkersburg, AZ, Clark (Della) Blair of Boone, Richard (Kristina) Blair of Ames, Marsha Blair of Huxley and Bryan (Maria) Blair of Jewel, along with ten grandchildren, Heather, Jesse, Debra, Shawna, Aaron, Sophia, Aiden, Mercedes, Ben and Sadie, one great-grandchild Keegan, two Brothers, Roger and Noble, four sisters, Pearl, Sharon, Mona and Mary along with several nieces and nephews.
Judy was a very loving person to all she knew, was greatly loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
We were blessed to able to call her Mom, Grandma, Sister and Friend.
