As a cousin of Karen's, we were able to be together many times at family events and visits back and forth in between. One very strong memory I have of Karen when we were growing up is the way she interacted with Grandpa Wilcox (Clint), because he had a hearing loss and tended to just sit on the sideline when the house was full of people. Karen always made a point of sitting close to him, looking him in the eyes, and talking with him -- yes, loudly -- and he beamed so much while she was doing this! Even though I am five years younger than Karen, and even at a young age, I figured out how much she was making him happy. Her care for others began at an early age. Fortunately, I have many memories, but I would like to have had many more.

Wes & Family: Remember the good times with your Mom and know she would want you to smile when a happy memory of her comes to mind. When you share those times, her blessings are rewarded to others. Sincerely, Keo

Karen was a very delightful person. She always made the people around her feel welcome. She will be missed by her family and friends. So sorry for your loss. Deb Coffin
