Kimberly "Kim" Ann Fitzgerald

July 18, 1968 - February 14, 2016

Kimberly (Kim) Ann Fitzgerald, 47, of Ankeny, Iowa was surrounded by her loved ones as she passed from complications after a heart attack at Nebraska Medical in Omaha on February 14, 2016.
A Celebration of her life will be held at Ankeny First United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 27th at 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow.
Kim was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 18, 1968, the youngest child of Stan and Ann Fitzgerald.
Kim graduated from Ankeny High School in 1986 and was active in Band and Drill Team. She continued her education at the University of Iowa and graduated in 1992 with a Masters degree in accounting.
Kim enjoyed cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes in football, basketball, and gymnastics. She enjoyed being with her friends & family, loved books, movies, cross stitching, going to concerts and playing with her two dogs. Kim was also an Organ Donor.
She is survived by two brothers; Kevin Fitzgerald and his wife Cari, of Ankeny, Iowa, Kurt Fitzgerald and his wife Amy, of Olathe, Kansas, and one niece; Leah, four nephews; A.J., Chase, Austin, and Carson. She also left behind her beloved dogs; Bella and Annie.
Kim is preceded in death by her loving parents, Stan and Ann Fitzgerald.
