L. Dan Geisler

L. Dan Geisler, 86, of Clive, died July 27, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.

Dan graduated from Maxwell High School in 1954 and went on to Drake University, working his way through college at Look Magazine Corporation. After graduating, he was hired and worked many years for Look. He then worked at Meredith Corporation, taking early retirement in 1999. After retiring, he started his own business in Ankeny, IA building houses.

Dan married Janet Lunde in 1957, and they were blessed with three children, Sandra, Steven, and Bryan; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Dan will be held at a later date.
