Pete and I grew up together in Rowley. He was a gread guy to grow up with. I remember one snow storm school was cancelled, Pete came to town to see us. I knew his parents well. He came from good stock. Over the years I've had many a chuckle thinking about our youth.

I remember Pete fondly, always smiling and joking, even if it was with few words. Brenda and Pete were the parents that I wanted to be like. They had such a lovely family of four small children. Even though we've been out of touch for decades, I've always remembered them both, as inspirations. Brenda, I just heard about Larry's passing and wish you and your family our condolences. I talked to him on the phone several years ago and we said we needed to get together sometime. With families and other obligations we just never made it. I was thinking today of when I was a senior in high school and we won the Buchanan county basketball tournament. Four of those players including Pete, Delvin Wilson, Bill Wenger, and Joe McGrath are no longer with us. We did have some great times together. I wish you and your extended family the best of health and happiness in the future.
