Lisa T Nguyen

September 4, 1992 - July 2, 2021

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Lisa Thanh Nguyen left this world unexpectedly on July 2, 2021 at the age of 28 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, IA.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 12, 2021 at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (510 E. 1^st St.) in Ankeny, IA.

Lisa was born in Des Moines, IA on September 4, 1992, to Thuy Nguyen. She grew up in Des Moines and lived there all her life, surrounded by her close friends and family.

Lisa truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as chatting with friends and family, cooking, helping her mom out, and spending time with her younger siblings and cousins.

Lisa was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She opened her heart and arms to anyone, making everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. She had this ability to light up any room she was in with her bright smile that glowed throughout wherever she was present along with her notorious laugh that could be recognized from a mile away. Her unconditional love for her mother and the guidance that she gave her brothers made a lasting impression on others.

She is survived by her mother, Thuy Nguyen; brothers, Michael Nguyen and Jordan Nguyen; grandfather, Ha Nguyen; grandmother, Binh Nguyen; along with her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
