Mark Beenken

January 29, 1956 - December 10, 2022

Mark Beenken, 66, formerly of Webster City, Iowa, passed away December 10, 2022, at his home in Ankeny, surrounded by family and friends. He lost his two-year, brave battle with an aggressive bone cancer.

Mark was born January 29, 1956. He graduated from high school in 1974 from Northwest Webster in Barnum, Iowa. He later graduated from Iowa Central Community College with a degree in mechanics.

Mark moved to Phoenix to work for Ruan Trucking before starting his own business, Mark’s Home Repair. After his diagnosis, he returned to Iowa to be near family.

Mark thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, following all types of sports, NASCAR, and helping anyone in need.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Rhonda; his three children, Michelle, Dan and Ron; his stepson, Scott (Jodi) and their daughter, Addyson; his siblings, Debra, Michael, and Denise; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents; and his parents, Erwin and Violet Beenken.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Webster City, Iowa.
