Michael F. Seeburger, 83, passed away February 27, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Michael was born December 12, 1938 to Frederick Joseph and Naomi (Snodgrass) Seeburger in Des Moines, Iowa. He was greeted by his older brother, Karl.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (510 E. 1st St) with a luncheon following Mass. Burial will follow the luncheon at Highland Memory Gardens.

Mike attended Dowling Catholic High School, and always made sure to tell everyone he was in the “class of 1957”. He then went on to attend college courses. He worked in various grocery stores throughout his life and his last employment was with Walmart in Ankeny. He retired in February of 2000.

In December of 1974 he met his wife, Mary Jo, and her daughter, Pam. He and Mary were married on August 1, 1975. A few years later, Mike adopted Pam to make her his own daughter and loved her as his own.

Mike was faithful to his church and wouldn’t miss a Sunday service unless absolutely necessary. He also loved going to class luncheons every month with former classmates. Mike loved to be with his grandson, Kevin, and they would go model car shopping and to different playgrounds when Kevin was younger.

Mike was preceded in death by his parent; brother, Karl; and grandson, David Michael Krupa. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; daughter, Pamela (John) Krupa; and grandson, Kevin Krupa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
