My condolence goes out to Mikes family.

George and Amy Anderson were my grandparents and lived their entire married lives in the house in front of Anderson Elementary school on Grant street. Mike Flannery took care of their lawn for over 50 years including some years after I inherited the house. Not only was Mike reliable and a man of his word, he was a repository of old Bondurant stories and lore and I greatly enjoyed talking to him. I am deeply saddened by his dying at such a young age and my sympathy goes out to his family. Jim Freeland

He is at peace but he is definitely not resting! I'm sure he is getting Heaven decorated for Christmas, tapping his fingers together while talking to God about "serious" issues, gathering all the little ones to get them to help him out and checking out the garden.
