Mr. Micheal William Hutton

Micheal W. Hutton Sr., 80, of Ankeny passed away peacefully August 1, 2015.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Church in Ankeny.
A visitation will be held 6 -8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Ankeny Memorial Chapel, with a prayer vigil at 8:00 p.m.
Micheal was born March 20, 1935 in Des Moines to Street and Mary Hutton. He graduated from Ankeny High School in 1954, and went to Barber School. In 1956, he married Marilyn Ackelson. He then opened Mike’s Barber Shop in Ankeny, where he worked until his retirement.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He loved his family, friends, and church.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, was an avid pianist, loved to golf, loved to fish, was a true Ankeny Hawk fan, and his true passion was for life in general.
Mike is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn, his children, Barbara (Norm) Foster of Ankeny, Micheal Jr. (Deanne) Hutton of Tulsa, OK, 5 grandchildren, Chad (Deanna) Major, Andrew (Nicole) Major, Casey, Hannah, and Grace Hutton; 7 great-grandchildren, Shai and Hailey Major, Mikayla, Alexandra, Collin, Kristopher, and Logan Major.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and 5 brothers.
