Mr. Theodore "Ted" Doggett

April 1, 1934 - February 24, 2015

Theodore “Ted” Doggett, 80, of Ogden, formerly of Ankeny passed away February 24, 2015.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral chapel (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd). Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015, also at the funeral home.
Ted was born April 1, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Des Moines Tech High School in 1949, and then went into the Navy for 4 years. When he returned, he married Norma Graeber, and attended Grandview College.
He went to work for the Postal Service and retired from there in 1989.
After retiring he enjoyed traveling, motorcycles, his family, and his many coffee group friends.
Ted is survived by his wife Mary, of Ogden, a son, Dan (Linda) of Ankeny, 2 granddaughters, Lindsey Doggett of Whitebear Lake, MN, and Chelsea (Evan) Borkowski of Elgin, IL, and a sister Betty Brown of Albuquerque, NM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Norma, and a brother Jack.
