Neala Joan Allie

September 28, 1942 - September 19, 2021

Neala Joan (McFadden) Allie passed away on September 19, 2021 at home in Huxley after a brave fight with cancer and Alzheimer’s.

She was born September 28, 1942 in Des Moines, IA, to Robert and Bonnie McFadden. She was married October 18, 1963 to Merlin Allie.

Neala graduated from Valley High School in 1960 and entered cosmetology school. She worked as a beautician for several years before staying at home to raise her daughter, Christine. She then changed careers choosing to become a Home Health Aide with Homeward at Mary Greeley Hospital. Neala loved her work helping others. After retiring in 2004, Neala and her husband did some traveling. Neala also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, walking and talking to friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bonnie McFadden and her brothers, Chick McFadden and Jim McFadden. She is survived by her husband, Merlin Allie and daughter, Christine (Randal) Anderson, as well as her sister, Dee Townsend.

A private family burial will be held at Nevada Cemetery. A Celebration of Life with family and friends will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Greely Medical Foundation which supports the Israel Family Hospice House.
