Paul F. Jones

July 9, 1948 - March 12, 2022

Paul Jones, 73, of Ankeny, died March 12, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.

A visitation will be held 5 to 7pm, Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Ankeny Memorial funeral home (4208 N Ankeny Blvd.)

Paul was born July 9, 1948, in Atlantic, Iowa to Jack and Carmela Jones.  He graduated from Atlantic high school and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Simpson College.  In 1967, he married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Mueller, and together they had 2 sons, Mark and Todd.

In 1975 they moved to Ankeny, and Paul started working in pharmaceutical sales. Later, Paul started Jones Construction Company, in Ankeny where he worked with his sons, Mark and Todd.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce; son, Mark; grandchildren Morgan McGuiness and Christopher Jones; brother, Dave Jones, of Atlantic and sister Jennifer Jones, of Lawrence, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Todd

Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
