Fran and Family, I want to express how saddened I was to see this. I am so very sorry for your loss. Roger was a good man and a good friend. We were good friends in the Cursillo, he will be sorely missed. I am sorry I am so late I have spent the last year fighting cancer and just came across this searching for my old friend. Heaven certainly has an Angel and I pray for comfort for you Fran and all his Family. May He Rest In Peace and May God Bless You All.

Fran & Family, I am Sending sympathy to you and your family. I thought I posted something earlier but don't see it now. My parents, Truman & Leona, have sure missed seeing you since all of you stopped going to Mesa. I remember the times we visited you at your place in Mesa and the delicious food. My Mom sure liked the lemon juice that Roger would give her. My parents sure miss seeing so many Mesa friends. Take Care and stay Safe and Well. Deb Braden, Kansas

I just learned of Roger's passing and want to send my belated sympathy to his family. I had a long and wonderful phone conversation with him about 1 year ago. My grandmother was a Stefani and also had red hair. I always suspected & wondered if they were remotely related. Roger graciously answered my questions and regaled me with stories. We never established a direct link, but we established a warm and friendly bond - as only 2 Italian strangers can. I will ask our God to comfort & strengthen each of you as you mourn his absence.

Roger was a big influence on all of us living down the street from him. As kids growing up in the middle of corn fields in the 1963 time line Roger was one of leaders on that block. My prayers and thought go out to the family. ?? RIP Roger you were a leader to all us young Grant Kids growing up.

Ankeny lost a pillar of goodness in Roger Stefani. He was my Babe Ruth baseball coach with Jerry Gray. He was my fan as I played my sports and always asked about my sons. He was such a good Ankeny representative for so many things. He will be so missed. Rest In Peace, friend. Ron
