Roger Kline Scholes

Roger K. Scholes, 73, formerly of Ankeny, passed away December 16, 2015.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Ankeny Memorial Chapel (4208 N Ankeny Blvd). a visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.

Roger was born in Des Moines, IA April 8, 1942. He graduated from Ankeny High School, and went on to earn a Bachelors degree from the University of Iowa, and then a Masters degree from Wichita State.

He was a member of the fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, IL.

Roger is survived by his mother, Ilene Scholes of Ankeny; his 2 sisters, Patricia (Max) Brewbaker, of Ankeny, and Beverly (Richard) Albaugh, of Huxley, and 3 generations of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, and a nephew, Douglas Brewbaker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ankeny Historical Society.
