Ronald Dubritsky

November 23, 1946 - January 27, 2022

Ronald Joseph Dubritsky, born November 23, 1946 in Shenandoah, PA passed away at Mercy Hospital Des Moines, Iowa on January 27, 2022.

Ronald was raised in Frackville, PA. He was the son of Joseph and Anna Dubritsky. Throughout his youth he was very active and played sports, hiked in the mountains, and caused a fair amount of mischief. Upon graduating from Frackville High School in 1964 he entered the US Coast Guard from 1964 to 1968 serving at Floyd Benet Field and Beach Haven, NJ.

Ronald married Eleanore Flickinger on November 20, 1976. They had one son, Richard Dubritsky. Ronald was employed by Alcoa, retiring in 2002 having worked at plants in Cressona, PA, Lebanon, PA, and Davenport, IA. Ronald had been a resident of Cordova, IL and Polk City, IA.

Throughout Ronald’s life he enjoyed spending time with his family and pets, going on bicycle rides and was a great fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gerry; and his brother, Edward. He is survived by his wife, Eleanore; son, Richard (Diana); and grandsons, Robert, William, and Trey.
