Scott A. Moon, 47, of Ankeny passed away unexpectedly at home, March 22, 2016.
A visitation will be held 6 – 8:00p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home (4208 N Ankeny Blvd). A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2016, also at the funeral home.
Scott was born August 7, 1968, and grew up in Ankeny. He graduated from Ankeny High School in 1987. After High School, he started his apprenticeship as a sheet metal worker with Corn States. He was a member of Local 45 in Des Moines.
He worked for Waldinger Corp. for over 20 years as a general foreman.
Scott enjoyed fishing, golfing, and barbeque.
Scott is survived by his parents, Ron and Betty Moon, of Ankeny, his brother, Kevin (Judy) Moon, and their daughter, MacKenzie, of New Richmond, WI; a grandmother, Bessie Arnold, of Ankeny, and an Uncle Dennis Moon, of Brooklyn, IA, and many cousins.
