I was so surprised to find Shirley here. I literally evoked her name yesterday when speaking of my training at DMACC as a medical assistant. She was an amazing woman and imparted her experience to our young eager brains willing and emphatically. She taught me so many lessons outside the text books, and I still call on them 40 years later. Thank you for sharing this amazing woman with us through her teaching and time. I offer prayers of comfort during this time. God Bless!

Shirley made a huge contribution to my life.... Shirley and my mom with hard and fast friends from the time I was 8 years old. I spent a lot of time at the Muehlenthaler house as a kid (after moving to Ankeny) and lots of time with my mom and Shirl once they retired from DMACC. I praying for everyone who knew and loved Shirley....I'll miss that smile and infectious laugh. Give my mom a hug!
