Sierra Jean Quick, 27, passed away at her home on August 18, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd).

Sierra was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on August 1st, 1995.

Sierra enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and won several medals. She also loved to dance, and was proud to show off as a cheerleader for Ruby Van Meter. She was quite an artist, always use her favorite color purple in her drawings. She loved to help and care for people and four legged friends. Sierra had a beautiful spirit and smile that would always light up a room. Sierra had a special friend, Reed, and they would go to the movies, dances, dinner, and special events together. She was a Husker fan and she really got into sports. Special thanks to Rachel and Jeremy Gregg for being special people in her life.

She is survived by her parents, Rodney and Tracy Quick of Des Moines, IA; sister, Cheyanne Quick of Des Moines, IA; brother, Angelo Quick of Des Moines, IA; two nieces, Isla and Jaydan of Des Moines, IA; aunts and uncles, Tanya and Charles of Des Moines, IA, and Tonya and Greg of O’Fallon, IL; aunt, Trish of Philadelphia, PA; cousins, Jennifer and Mary of Des Moines, IA, Jeremy Banner of O’Fallon, IL, and Arron Banner of St. Louis, MO.  Sierra is also very blessed to have brothers, Sean and Drew of Kansas City, MO, and Romane of Lincoln, NE; and sister, Sidney of Kansas City, MO.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Marge Iepson of Farmington, IL, and Jim and Phyllis Quick of Blair, NE; and an uncle, William Iepson, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA.
