Steve was a good friend and a wonderful co-worker. He always had a smile and a pleasant attitude, even when things didn’t go right at work. He was a positive influence to all. His love for his family was evident when he would talk about Sue, Heather and her family and their adventures. He was so proud of them all. Steve was a good friend and I will miss him. My sympathies and prayers for his family.

I was first friends with my friend Sue and then got to know Steve. I was always amazed at his ability to fix about anything, woodworking skills and striving to learn new things like playing his horn. He would volunteer and help his friends and neighbors when they needed his help fixing things. When Steve was diagnosed with cancer he faced it head on and took the chemo. In the 3 and half years he dealt with the disease I never once heard him complain even when he was sick and in pain. He could of sat in a recliner and felt sorry for himself but he carried on with his life doing everything he did before. He was physically ill with the chemo but still went out in the garage and put snow tires on the car so Sue would be prepared for winter and that was his determination that this horrible disease was not going to beat him without a fight. Steve loved his family and will be missed by all of his friends.
