Suzana Simic-Todorovic

March 9, 1968 - March 19, 2023

Suzana Simic-Todorovic, 55, of Ankeny, Iowa, passed away at home on March 19, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born March 9, 1968, in Zepce, Yugoslavia.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd.), with visitation held one hour prior to the service.

Suzana is survived by her three siblings, Tomislav, Tvrtko, and Bernadina; her mother, Ivanka; and son, Nikola.

She spent six years living in Germany where she had fond memories of friends and relatives. After moving to Iowa, she successfully found a career at Pioneer where she spent more than 20 years making friends with many that she interacted with, her cheerful and upbeat attitude having a way of spreading to most that met her.

Suzana enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, watching dramas, gardening, traveling, and shopping.

Suzana had a strong will and love for life, dedicating herself to her family. She will now be joining her husband, Nebojsa “Flok” Todorovic, and father, Janko Simic. We grieve her passing but will always cherish her memory.
