Tatum Romans

July 16, 2023 - August 19, 2023

Tatum Summer Romans was born on July 16, 2023, in Des Moines, Iowa, and resided in Ankeny, Iowa. She passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2023.  Tatum had unconditional love from her parents, Jonathan Romans and Alexandria Carlson.  She lightened our lives in her short time here with her funny faces, full head of hair, and giggles.

Tatum is survived by her parents, Jonathan Bond Romans and Alexandria May Carlson; grandparents, Gregory Bond Romans, Amber Kay Romans, Nicholas Lloyd Carlson, and Sarah Beth Hall; great-grandparents, Larry Duane Romans, Neal Henry Degner, Colleen Elizabeth Degner, Mary Schmitt, Kurt Phillip Carlson, and Leslie Ronell Fenimore; as well as many aunts, uncles, and family friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Summer Rain Romans; great-grandmother, Beatrice Joellen Romans; grandfather, Steve Raymond Schmitt; and great-grandmother, Delores May Mullenix.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Lutheran Church of Hope in Ankeny (520 NW 36^th Street) at 11:00 a.m.
