Timothy James McCombs

December 22, 1953 - January 25, 2017

Tim McCombs, 64 of Prairie City, passed away January 25, 2017.
A visitation will be held 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 at Prairie City United Methodist Church, in Prairie City. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday January 28th, also at the church.
Tim was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, and moved with his family to Colorado, where he graduated High School. He lived in numerous places throughout his life until finally making his home in Iowa.
He made friends wherever he went and kept in touch with them. He was a lifelong Broncos fan, enjoyed fishing, and being at the beach.
Tim is survived by his wife Kristina “Tina” Kavadas; 4 children Nick McCombs, Skylar McCombs, Cade McCombs, and Camden McCombs; sisters, Sue Brown and Irene McCombs, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Marilyn McCombs, and a brother Dan.
