Growing up in Wayland, I got to know Wilma and her family. She always had kind words to say, was always ever so thoughtful of others, and to me at a very impressionable age was a very classy lady. The love she had for those around her was just awesome. God Bless this family in their time of loss.

My heart goes out to Wilma's family. She was a beautiful and wonderful lady.

In the 50s and 60s my family lived a few miles from Ed and Wilma and their children. My sister Carol and I babysat with Carmine and Rhonda while in our teen years. As an awkward kid I remember thinking how beautiful Wilma was, how kind and handsome Ed was and what well behaved children they had. Much later when I married and began having my own children I had several opportunities to visit with Wilma as we found ourselves hanging out at the Cloth Patch. As creatures of style we often compared thoughts on new fabrics and pattern trends. I always marveled at her steadfast courage when dealing with life's twists and turns as well as her delightful humor and positive outlook. Wilma was a role model for me. Her spirit is intrepid, indomitable. I feel honored to have known her.
