Beverly Ann Oberender

Beverly Ann Oberender, 81, of Ankeny passed away February 28, 2015.
A Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday March 7, 2015 at Candle Lit Way Chapel (507 Hatton Ave., Dallas Center). A visitation will be held at 1:30, following the service.
Beverly was born May 12, 1933 in Jewell, Iowa.
She married Orville Oberender March 18, 1949. They moved to Ankeny in 1963 where they raised their family.
Beverly worked at Maurices, from where she retired.
She enjoyed sewing, bowling, feeding the wildlife in her yard, and spending time with her family.
She was particularly proud of being a 20 year breast cancer survivor.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 66 years, Orville, her children, Dave (Glenda), Dan (MaryEllen), Darwin (Diana), Debbie, Mike (Connie), Patty (Tom) Pirtle; 15 grandchildren, Blaine, Troy, Shane, Cody, Jaime, Zachary, Kylie, Valerie, Christina, Casey, Rich, Rosie, Becky, Maria, and Tyler; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
