I worked with Denise for many years on 3W. She was always so knowledgeable and willing to help out others. She was definitely someone you'd want in the room with you if things were going south quick. She was a great mentor to many nurses. We always enjoyed her Christmas treats she would share with her work family. Condolences to Denise's family. Brenda Oehler

Denise had a wonderful smile and was always willing to help out especially in areas where she had a passion. Rachel remembers Denise leading singing during the music time for the AWANA program at church. Denise taught the song about the books of the Bible which Rachel still sings to herself when she needs it. Denise had such a sweet voice and a warm gentle way of teaching the children. Dean remembers Denise being willing to come to their home and help them groom and replant some flower beds. She loved caring for flowers and knew lots of good information about them. We are sure you will miss her a lot. She was a very special lady. Praying for all of you that the Lord gives you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

A wonderful, happy, and loving wedding and the start of a strong family. The restaurant photo with Denise, Walter, and Nathaniel was when they came to visit us in Naperville, Illinois.

I feel so lucky to have known Denise both as an excellent nurse and friend. Her smile would light up the room and she had a way of making you feel valued. I see things that she enjoyed and will think of her--flowers, animals, nature, Hallmark, Bennigans, Christmas. Rest in peace dear friend. Kathy Krumrei 3-west St. Lukes.
