I always enjoyed Larry's visits to my dental office. His congenial and agreeable nature made him a pleasure to work with. I was glad to be a small part of his life for many years.

Larry was truly one of the good guys in his generation of Ankeny leaders and characters. His energy, dedication , sense of humor and love of business benefitted everyone he came in contact with. He was definitely one of my best friends and a lifeline for surviving some tough times in the newspaper business with his advice and marketing dollars. I will miss him. Ron Sampson
